On a computer, press and hold the green book cover with your mouse for about two seconds. On a phone, hold it with your finger. When the message says it is ready, release to open the book. A brief tap will not open it. With a keyboard, focus the cover, hold Space or Enter for two seconds, and release.
You can speak your question aloud or keep it in your thoughts. The experience does not listen or record your voice. Your question does not influence which answer appears.
First, notice your reaction. If “Not now” brings relief, perhaps you did not want to rush. That is your interpretation, not proof that the book has read your mind.
Separate the random sentence from the facts of your situation. For an important choice, look at the information you need, conversations to have, and actual conditions. You may find a small next step, or simply smile and let the answer go.
Choose “Another question” to close the book and try again. Repeated draws do not improve the accuracy of a prediction: this book does not predict the future.
Korean and English each contain 2,000 answers with matching page numbers. Switching between them preserves your answer. The other 14 language versions currently have 80 answers. If the current page has no translation, return to another question before switching languages.
“Save quote” downloads a text file. “Share” uses your device's share sheet or clipboard. Classical excerpts and adaptations include a source link; adaptations are not presented as an author's actual words.
The three green bars beside the book show your remaining daily openings. One bar empties only when an answer appears. A brief press, changing language, saving, or sharing costs no opening. After all three, your last answer remains available to read and save.
The allowance resets at midnight in Korea. The next available time is shown in your device’s time zone. Counts are stored in this browser and survive reloads, including across tabs. Other browsers and devices have separate records, and clearing browser data removes the record. If browser storage is blocked, the limit lasts only on the current page.
After your first three pages, “Please… just one more chance” grants three extra openings once per day. After all six, come back the next day for three new openings.
